I was born and raised here in Franklin and Williamson County. I graduated from Franklin High School in 1997. During my high school years, I served as "Johnny Rebel" The Franklin High School Mascot. Because of being the mascot, I was voted as having Most School Spirit. After high school, I attended Columbia State Community College. In 1998, I went to work at Franklin National Bank. While there, I served as vault teller, head teller, executive assistant, and customer service representative. At the end of 2002, Franklin National Bank was acquired by Fifth Third Bank, and I decided it was time for me to leave. I left Franklin National Bank in 2003 to join Cumberland Bank as a Bank Officer. In 2005, I was promoted to Assistant Banking Center Manager at our Royal Oaks office.

I am very involved in the community. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for The Franklin Housing Authority, Franklin High School Community Advisory board, and Franklin Lions Club as Tail Twister. I am a member of the Heritage Foundation of Franklin/Williamson County, Williamson County Republican Party, Choong Sil Tae Kwon Do Federation, and the Williamson County Knife Collectors Club. I am also a graduate of my Banks leadership development program, and a former member of the Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club. I am also involved in the political scene in Franklin. Most recently, I served as Campaign Chairman for Dodson Randolph's Third Ward Alderman race. Before that, I served as campaign treasurer for Steve Smith's Alderman race. I also served as a political consultant for Jerry Sharber's Mayor race. I have also been involved in statewide and national campaigns as a volunteer. I was also a member of the central Franklin area plan steering committee, which enacted the design standards for the original 15 blocks of downtown Franklin for the cities urban growth boundary.

In 1994, I was named a Honorary Colonel of The State Of Tennessee by Governor Ned Ray McWherter. At the time, I was 14 years old as was one of the youngest in the states history. I get my flare for politics honest, because of my dad, Al Gregory Sr., who served as a Franklin Alderman and Vice Mayor for 18 years. My mother served as Former President Jimmy Carters Williamson County Press Secretary.

I have been married to Sue Gregory, who is from Syracuse, New York, for 5 years, and we reside in Downtown Franklin.

My biggest accomplishment this year is that I have lost 91 lbs with diet and exercise. I am very thankful for being able to do this without surgery.

In my free time, I enjoy practicing martial arts. I compete in about 4 sparring competitions a year. I also enjoy college and professional football. On Saturday nights, you almost always find me and Sue at the Royal Oaks Starbucks.

I am very excited to be a part of the Franklin Lions club, and look forward to many more years of service with a great bunch of people.
