FRANKLIN LION'S CLUB

CLUB MEETINGS ARE HELD EACH TUESDAY
AT 12:00 NOON
AT THE GOLDEN CORRAL RESTAURANT
3020 MALLORY LANE

Welcome from the club president.

Welcome to the website for the Franklin Lions Club. Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.

Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.

Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

The Franklin Lions Club is the oldest civic club in Franklin. It provides its members with an opportunity to serve their community and its citizens in meaningful ways. At the same time members have the opportunity to share the good fellowship of an active group of community leaders. The tabs in the menu to the left identify our membership and detail many of our activities.

Come and visit us at any time. You will be welcome.

Denise Manning, President

Membership Message from Jim Chapman

Thank you to everyone who worked at the Fair - I think we represented our club superbly with volunteers from both the day and night groups.
We screened more that 200 children from 28 different Tennessee cities and 9 different states.

Thank you to all those who participated in the Extension Club training. We have 3 new clubs to support now in Franklin - Grassland, Downtown and Cool Springs. The following members of our club participated in at least one day of canvassing and/or training. Denise Manning, Chuck Sheriff, Susan Edenfield, Lynn Garrett, Esther Gorney, Jim and Joy Chapman.

We were also joined by District Governor Keith Lawrence, Past District Governor Frank Young and his wife, Anne, and Vice District Governor Ralph Brewer.

Thank you so much to John and Wanda Barnett who came to conduct this training and motivate and lead us in signing up new lions!
