CLUB MEETING - August 8, 2001
President Trey Garrard called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on 8/8/2006 at
12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 28 Members and Guests present.
Tim Murphy gave the invocation.
KarlGrace Dye led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Welcome Guests: 5
Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members that did not know that 19,000 thousand injuries occurred
last year while using a vacuum cleaner. ALL CLUB MEMBERS
FAILED THE EXAM??????????????????
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 130 service hours were recorded.
Sign Up Sheet for Trade IN and Trade UP that benefits Ed Lindsey Industries for Blind/Thrift Store.
Membership Committee Announcements: Brain Storming session scheduled for the
regular meeting of August 15.
Announcements: Tom Kiermaier related to the club the experience that he and Dan Looney had
in participating with the Make A Wish Program in the restoration of the
House that was destroyed in last year's storm.
Lion James Warren Introduces the 3 Speakers from Graceworks.

CLUB MEETING - August 1, 2006
President Trey Garrard called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on 8/1/2006 at
12 Noon at the Garrett Center with _26 Members and Guests present.
Joey Davis gave the invocation.
Francine Whittemore led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Welcome Guests Phil Barnes, Downtown Lions Club, Nashville
Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members that have not volunteered to work at the Williamson
County Fair.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 80 service hours were recorded.

Membership Committee Announcements: Brain Storming session scheduled for the regular meeting

Announcements: Phil Barnes announced the "Scramble for Sight Golf Tournament and invited

at 12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 20 Members and Guests present.

CLUB MEETING - July 18, 2006
President Trey Garrard called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on July 18, 2006
at 12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 22 Members and Guests present.
Tom Kiermaier gave the invocation.
Karel-Grace Dye led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members who were not wearing sunglasses.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 140 service hours were recorded.
Tom Kiermaier & Dan Looney led discussion on FOTF.
John Scoble announced there would be a Membership Meeting at Starbucks at 2:30 on Thursday. July 20th.

CLUB MEETING - July 11, 2006
Treasurer Claude Bates called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on July 11,
2006 at 12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 21 Members and Guests present.
Jim Chapman gave the invocation.
Bill Veevers led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members who did not know that when there is a will, there are
300 relatives.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 163 service hours were recorded.
Joey Davis introduced Chad Gray from the Williamson County Election Office who had brought
two of the new voting machines for display.
Claude Bates introduced City of Franklin Stormwater Coordinator Don Green who presented the
program on Stormwater and the Homeowner.

CLUB MEETING - June 27, 2006
President Trey Garrard called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on June 27,
2006 at 12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 21 Members and Guests present.
Trey Garrard gave the invocation.
Trey Garrard led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members who did not know the towel said "the more I drip, the
drier I get".
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 74 service hours were recorded.
Treasurer Claude Bates reported $ 3,782.15 on hand in the Club Account and $ 22,024.63 in the
Charities Account.
Trey Garrard led discussion on FOTF.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING - June 27, 2006
The Franklin Lions Club of Franklin, TN held a regular Board Meeting at The Garrett Center on
June 27, 2006. The meeting was called to order at 12:30PM by President Trey Garrard with the
following board members in attendance:

Attendance was recorded.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer Claude Bates reported $3,782.15 on hand.
Treasurer Bates reported there were 3 members in arrears. Joey Davis moved the President
contact these members about their past due accounts. Al Gregory seconded and the motion
passed.
Treasurer Bates reported Helen Landry was to be dropped from the membership due to illness.
Copies of the club By-Laws were passed out to the Officers in attendance.

President Trey Garrard called the regular meeting of the Franklin Lions Club to order on June 13,
2006 at 12 Noon at the Garrett Center with 26 Members and Guests present.

Tail Twister Al Gregory fined all members who did not know the source of Baby Oil.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Attendance and 102 service hours were recorded.
Treasurer Claude Bates reported $ 5,129.67 on hand in the Club Account and $20,014.23 in the
Charities Account as of 6.9.06.
Trey Garrard reported FOTF will start at 4:30.
Claude Bates introduced Emily James, Rosemary Reid and John Taggart who presented the
program on The Heritage of Brentwood.
